OPENING TIP: The Tennessee State men’s basketball team will hit the road for two games this week, as they are set to take on Lindenwood and Southeast Missouri. The Tigers will look to pick up their second win over LWU this season after defeating them inside the Gentry Center in early January.

SERIES INFORMATION: This will be the 4th-ever contest between the TSU and LWU. The Tigers are 3-0 against the Lions all-time. TSU defeated LWU 75-60 at home earlier this season with Christian Browncontributing 22 points.
USI NOTES & NUMBERS:
50: The number of bench points that TSU finished with against USI. E.J. Bellinger led the Tigers with 21 points off the bench followed by Jaylen Jones with 16. Michael Shanks contributed nine points.
HE’S GOT 5 ON IT: Jaylen Jones dished out a team-high five assists against USI, which marked his 5thgame of 5+ assists. The true freshman leads the team with 61 helpers which is 9th most in the OVC.
BLOCK PARTY: Jason Jitoboh added three more blocks to his name against USI to move to 47 on the season. The transfer center is now tied for the league lead in swats while having just played 16 games. He is averaging a league-leading 2.9 blocks per contest
